This weekend, members of the National Socialist Movement, the country's largest Neo-Nazi party, will rally in St. Louis. They're celebrating their 35th anniversary. St. Louis police are gearing up for this year's rally and they hope the public stays away.
The Neo-Nazis are going to rally in St. Louis this weekend. In years past the Anti-Defamation League's response to such an event would be no response. In other words just ignore it and don't give the group the attention it seeks.
But a spokesperson with the ADL says this year it's different. First, this event is larger than normal. Also, it's no secret we're going through tough times economically and that's when hate groups tend to gather members. When people are worried about their own future and feel beaten down it's time for them to find a scapegoat for their problems.
